On Monday, August 3rd the Utah Grizzlies announced the re-signing of American forward and centreman Jack Jenkins. Jenkins, 25-years-old, had seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points in 52 games played. The Utah Grizzlies enjoyed having Jenkins last year before the season was halted due to COVID-19.
Jenkins played four years with Notre Dame in 2015-2019. During those four years, he racked up 15 goals and 25 assists in 144 games played. Jenkins has been playing hockey since 2008-09 with CYA 14u triple “A.” The 2019-20 season was his best on recored when you look at his numbers.
Jenkins was always very active last year with the Grizzlies. The right-handed shooter re-signing was a very smart by the organization. I look forward to seeing him improve more in the upcoming season when it gets underway.
