⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Henrik Lundqvist

Henrik Lundqvist was given his second start in as many games against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday. Lundqvist earned his back-to-back start after a fantastic appearance against the Detroit Red Wings. Lundqvist had another fantastic outing with what would be a 45-save performance.

As New York carried the victory, Lundqvist recorded a .957 SV%. It was his second win in as many games and his fourth of the regular season. Lundqvist now owns a .922 SV% and a 3.03 GAA.

⭐️⭐️ – Tom Wilson

The Washington Capitals came back in a wild game against the Florida Panthers on Thursday. It was touch and go for a while, but the Washington Capitals have Tom Wilson to thank for their overtime win. Wilson had the game-tying goal in the third period and would go on to score the overtime goal. It was Wilson’s sixth and seventh goals of the season and his third game of the season with two-plus points.

⭐️ – Jared McCann

The Pittsburgh Penguins ended the Islanders 10-game winning streak with a fantastic comeback victory over the New York Islanders. The Penguins were led by Jared McCann who had a three-point night in his team’s win. McCann scored the first goal for the Penguins which was in the third period while his team was already down 3-0.

He then recorded the primary assist on the second goal of the game which was scored by Bryan Rust. After that, he helped completed his team’s comeback with a secondary assist on Evgeni Malkin’s game-tying goal.
