The Montreal Canadiens jumped on the ice on Monday morning and there was a face we hadn’t seen. Max Domi made his first appearance in Brossard, Quebec after agreeing with the team to wait 7-10 days. Philip Danault, Ryan Poehling, Cale Fleury and Cayden Primeau skated separately from the main group on Monday. Once again, the Canadiens were without a pair of young defensemen in Xavier Ouellet and Brett Kulak.
Michael McNiven ended up taking a Shea Weber slapshot right to the face and while it cut him, Claude Julien confirmed over Zoom that the Winnipeg native didn’t suffer further injury.
