Montreal Canadiens NHL Play-In Round Update From Toronto

The Montreal Canadiens had practice on Friday at the Ford Performance Centre based in Etobicoke. For the first time since agreeing to terms, the Habs saw Alex Romanov in Toronto where’ll he’ll stay with the team, but won’t skate in the play-in round. The Canadiens are preparing for game one where they will square off against the Penguins on Saturday.

Alex Belizile didn’t skate on Friday and no team update has been made on his status. Here are the lines and defensive pairings that were used on the ice on Friday morning:

Romanov wore number 27 in his very first practice as a member of the Canadiens. On the other hand, all four goaltenders took part in team practice on Friday in Toronto.
