On Wednesday July 22nd, the Cincinnati Cyclones announced the re-signing of forward Jesse Schultz for the 2020-21 season. Schultz will be 37 years of age and entering his fourth year with the Cyclones organization.
During the 2019-20 season, Schultz racked up 25 goals and 39 assists for 64 points. Along with 41 penalty minutes, he managed to do so in 62 games. He was also a point per game scorer the last three years of his tenure with the Cyclones.
In 2010, Elite Prospects writer Ulf Andersson said, “Schultz is a speedy winger with good offensive instincts. Likes to shoot and go straight to the net. Is somewhat lacking in stature, though. Isn’t very good defensively.”
