Indy Fuel Agree To Deal With Forward Thomas Ebbing

On Thursday August 27th, the Indy Fuel announced the signing of American forward Thomas Ebbing. The two sides agreed to terms on a standard player contract for the upcoming season.

Ebbing joins the Indy Fuel hockey club season after spending last season between the Royals and Swamp Rabbits. The 25-year-old forward played in 49 games split with Greenville and Reading. In doing so, he recorded 12 goals along with 15 assists for 27 points. This also includes a +15 rating.

Ebbing, a native of Michigan, appeared in 51 games over two AHL seasons. He did so with the Laval Rocket. There, he recorded two goals along with four assists for a total of six points. He also added 17 penalty minutes.

Before making the jump to pro, Ebbing played 143 games with the Michigan State Spartans in the NCAA. During those four years at college, the centreman scored 14 goals along with 41 assists for 55 points. Standing at 5’11, Ebbing also played one season in the USHL with the Chicago Steel.

Playing major junior in the U.S., Ebbing scored 16 goals along with 10 assists for 26 points. In 2012-2013, Ebbing also earned a spot in the USHL/NHL Top Prospect Game.
