Defensemen Nolan Kneen Agrees To Contract With Allen Americans

On Tuesday August 25th, the Allen Americans announced the signing of rookie defensemen Nolan Kneen. The two sides agreed to terms on a standard player contract for the upcoming season. In doing so, the Americans help to solidify the team’s blue line.

Nolan Kneen joins the Allen Americans after spending five seasons in the Western Hockey League. He did so for the Kamloops Blazers and most recently for the Saskatoon Blades. Kneen played in 61 games last season, scoring 12 goals along with 28 assists. This made for a total of 40 points.

The 6’0, 195 pound defensemen is 25 years of age while also a native of Duncan, B.C. Kneen joins three other signees for 2020-21 in Les Lancaster, Cody Corbett and Cole Frazer.

Speaking of the team’s newest signee, head coach Steve Martinson said in Tuesday’s press release, “A nice addition to our blue line. Nolan Kneen is
another player that combines skill and physicality. He delivers the
big hits and makes the tape to tape passes.”
