The OHL is the next big hockey league to suspend their season due to the outbreak of COVID-19, league sources tell The Puck Authority. The CHL announced earlier today that they would be meeting with the three regional league’s commissioners to discuss their plan for the remainder of the season. The QMJHL and WHL have also announced the suspensions of their respective seasons.
As The Puck Authority has learnt, the suspension is expected to be somewhere between eight-twelve weeks long. This would likely result in the cancellation of the season altogether.
