On Thursday July 16th, the Wheeling Nailers announced the re-signing of defensemen Marc-Olivier Duquette. The 22-year-old Quebec native was acquired via trade from the Fort Wayne Komets in October. After coming over from Indiana, Duquette racked up two goals five assists for a total of seven points. Along with 24 penalty minutes, he managed to do so in 39 games.
Duquette could add a heavy element to the style of play Mark French brings to the Nailers. Announcing his re-signing on Thursday, Duquette joins winger Brad Drobot and forward Alec Butcher for the upcoming season. Who do you want to see return to Nail City next?
