Kalamazoo Wings Re-Sign Defensemen Ian Edmondson

On Thursday September 10th, the Kalamazoo Wings announced the re-signing of Canadian defensemen Ian Edmondson. The two sides agreed to terms on a standard player contract for the upcoming season.

In a statement on Thursday from Nick Bootland, head coach of the Kalamazoo Wings, he said of the team’s latest signing, “Ian kept improving through last season. He had 17 points in the second half of the season without any real power play time. He is very consistent, and makes the simple play night in and night out.”

It’s that consistency that K-Wings hockey fans are hoping to see in the upcoming season. Speaking of which, return to play puck drop is tentatively scheduled for the fourth of December.
