Habs Look To Tie The Series In A Crucial Game 4

The Montreal Canadiens did everything they could in game 3, but couldn’t solve Carter Hart in a 1-0 loss in Toronto. After putting five goals past him in game two, they knew he would have a bounce back game.

It took one defensive miscue and a low scoring game for the Flyers to take the 1-0 win and the 2-1 lead in the series. The Canadiens weren’t fortunate enough and only managed four high danger chances in game three. They also hit four posts which shows if one goes in, this is a totally different story.

Montreal, once again, needs to refine its offence or else another lack of scoring is likely and the Canadiens could potentially be on the brink.

Keys To Victory

Keep crashing the net: The Canadiens need to continue driving to the dirty areas of the net. That is the only way goals will come for Montreal.

Stay disciplined: Montreal took six penalties in game three. They need to stay out of the box and not give the Flyers any work on the man advantage.
