On Friday October 30th, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits announced the signing of Canadian left-winger Kamerin Nault. The two sides agreed to terms on a standard player contract for the upcoming season. For Nault, it will be his third season with the organization.
Prior to committing to college, the forward would span four seasons with the Winnipeg Blues in the MJHL. During his four seasons with the team, Nault recorded 76 points, this being a career high during the regular season. In 2015-16, he amassed that total in only 54 games. Additionally, Nault made the playoffs in each season spent with the Winnipeg Blues.
Back in 2016, Nault began his journey with the Manitoba Bisons in Canada West. During the three seasons he spent there, Nault played in a total of 46 games. During the 2017-18 season, Nault played in 29 games, having scored 12 goals along with eight assists. As such, the lefty compiled 20 points.
While that made for 20 points, the Bisons hockey team played two games in the postseason. Not long into the 2018-19 season, the forward signed his first pro contract in the ECHL with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Doing so in 20 games played, he compiled a total of 21 points.
Nault was also briefly promoted, joining the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League. He would play one game there, scoring one goal and one assist. Last year, he played 40 games with Greenville and racked up a total of 32 points. This was before the season was suspended.
The forward was also loaned to the Charlotte Checkers in the AHL. Again, he would play one game, however, was unable to get on the scoreboard.
