It’s not always disheartening when a player doesn’t come back to the team. Not when the player in question has earned a spot in the AHL. The Winnipeg Jets affiliate in Manitoba has announced the signing of former assistant captain Nathan Todd.
The signing with the Moose is a one-year deal with at the AHL level. Todd did see ice time last season, playing 16 games in a stint with the Moose. During that time, he scored one goal, making for one point while adding on two penalty minutes. Todd had a little more time in the AHL when he was loaned to Brampton’s affiliate, the Belleville Senators. There, he added four more games with a Plus/Minus rating of -1.
This will be Todd’s third year in the AHL. After playing two years in the OHL with the Ottawa 67’s, Todd played seven games with the Senators old affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Binghamton is now the affiliate of the New Jersey Devils.
