The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres (NHL) and Rochester Americans (ECHL), have announced their players recieving qualifying offers.
The list is as follows:
Forwards: Jacob Benson, Brendan Harms, Phillipe Hudon, Ben Johnson, Matt McLeod and Nate Mitton.
Defensemen: Andrew Debrincat and Connor Schmidt.
Receiving a qualifying offer insures that the team controls the playing rights to that player for the following season, even if they don’t sign an ECHL contract that season.
Benson hails from Grand Forks, North Dakota and was acquired by the Cyclones this offseason to complete a future considerations trade that sent forward Spencer Dorowitz to the Tulsa Oilers. Benson’s season statistics from 2019-20 are displayed below:

Harms hails from Steinbach, Manitoba and was signed by the Cyclones for 2019-20 for a short time before being suspended to play in Norway for the rest of the season. His ECHL stats from 2019-2020 are as follows:

Hudon hails from Hudson, Quebec and was acquired by Cincinnati on January 13th as part of a trade with the Adirondack Thunder and Norfolk Admirals. His Cincinnati 2019-20 Stats are as follows:
15 GP, two G, five A, seven PTS and eight penalty minutes.
Johnson hails from Calumet, Michigan and played the full 2019-20 season with the Cyclones. His 2019-20 stats are as follows:
60 GP, 21 G, 31 A, 52 PTS and 49 penalty minutes.
McLeod hails from North York, Ontario and was acquired this offseason from the Beasts to complete a future considerations trade as well. His 2019-2020 stats are displayed below:

Mitton hails from Kitchener, Ontario and was a fan favorite on the Cyclones this season. His 2019-2020 stats are as follows:

Debrincat hails from Farmington Hills, Michigan and was another fan favorite in Cincinnati this season. His older brother is Alex Debrincat of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. His 2019-20 stats are as follows:

Schmidt was acquired by the Cyclones from the Wings via waivers on January 24th and very quickly became another fan favourite player. His Cincinnati Cyclones statistics are as follows are as follows displayed below:
