Adirondack Thunder Re-Sign Right-Winger Alexander Carrier

The Adirondack Thunder announced on Thursday that they have re-signed forward Alex Carrier. Carrier has been a fan favourite in Adirondack over the past few years and is one of the candidates to take over as Thunder captain if James Henry departs. “He helps our younger guys know what it’s like to be a professional,” said head coach Alex Loh during the announcement via Facebook Live.

Last season, Alex only played in 39 games, putting up three goals and six assists for nine points. Carrier will be entering his tenth year in the ECHL. Over that time, he’s put up 17 goals and 46 assists for 63 points. The native of St-Elzéar, Quebec is a power-forward who will play a gritty game and isn’t afraid to drop the gloves if and when needed. I expect Carrier to have a huge role next year with the Thunder and a season where he could tally a career high record in terms of games played.
