⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Ondrej Palat
The Tampa Bay Lightning have been starting to turn their season around and they continued to add to the win column on Monday night against the Buffalo Sabres. The Lightning were led by Ondrej Palat who picked up three points in his sides 5-2 victory over the Sabres. Palat recorded primary assists on his team’s first and the second goals of the night.
His second assist helped Mikhail Sergachev tie up the game earlier on in the evening. Later in the third period, Palat scored a short-handed goal, this putting the game out of reach for the struggling Sabres.
⭐️⭐️ – Alexander Radulov
After struggling early on this season, the Dallas Stars have solved most of their problems and have turned their season around through the quarter way mark. On Monday night, the Stars beat the Vegas Golden Knights who have had some trouble winning games over the last couple of weeks. Radulov led his team over Vegas with what would be a three-point performance.
He scored the first goal of the game which got things going for the Dallas Stars early. He then recorded the primary assist on Jason Dickinson’s goal which served as the game-winner. After that Radulov sealed the deal, scoring the fourth goal of the game to put Vegas out of reach of a potential comeback.
⭐️ – John Gibson
John Gibson led his Anaheim Ducks over the dominant New York Islanders on Monday night, this victory putting an end to the New York Islanders 17-game point streak. The Islanders have been one of the best teams all season and have not been held scoreless all season until they faced John Gibson on Monday night. Gibson recorded his first shutout of the season in which he saved all 26 shots he faced. The Ducks have struggled so far this season, currently sitting in seventh place in the Pacific Division.
