The ECHL is the latest hockey league to suspend play this season, league sources tell The Puck Authority. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the ECHL will immediately suspend all play until further notice. Sources have also told The Puck Authority that the league is discussing potentially cancelling the season entirely.

The best case-scenario regarding the league’s suspension is that the league will be on hiatus for a month, however, that is being described as the “best-case scenario.”
